1. Visiting Goa Giri Putri Cave Temple

The temple of Goa Giri Putri is located inside an impressive cave. It is indeed the biggest cave of Nusa Penida island. Many Balinese make the trip from Bali to Nusa Penida specifically to follow the complete course of purification which includes five stations inside the cave, in addition to the initial ceremony before entering the cave. Balinese also come because the water flowing from the spring in Goa Giri Putri Temple is holy water. It contains natural strength that can cure the disease. You will spot people coming for the ceremony easily on the speed boat, dressed in white and bearing their offerings. But most of them will come back on the same day to Bali because they are scared by the reputation of the island.

2. Enjoy the beauty of Atuh Beach

Atuh beach is a beautiful beach located in a remote cove under steep green cliffs on the east coast of Nusa Penida island. Atuh beach, also known as Pantai Atuh by locals, is a perfect beach to relax and swim for the day. Therefore it’s one of the best beaches on Nusa Penida if you ask us. Located in the next bay to Diamond beach you can perfectly combine these two wonderful Nusa Penida beaches. Both have some of the most crystal clear water and are surrounded by towering limestone rocks. With Diamond beach being a rugged, untouched beach without any sunbeds or warungs, Atuh Beach offers a handful of warungs where you can order drinks, food and rent sunbeds.

3. See the very beautiful view of the Diamond Beach.

Diamond beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Nusa Penida with towering limestone cliffs and bright turquoise blue water. When exploring Nusa Penida island you can’t miss visiting this beach which is located on the east coast of the island. The viewpoint on Diamond Beach is already picture perfect, but to get down to the beautiful and rugged beach you have to hike along a pretty steep and narrow path with is cut out from the limestone rocks. The hike even involves a little bit of climbing with a rope, but nothing too dangerous to skip it. However if you’re short in time and just want to snap a quick picture of this iconic beach with diamond shaped rocks, then you can easily get to the viewpoint. If you’re lucky you can even spot Manta Rays in the crystal clear blue water!

4 & 5. See the ocean from the top of the hill at Rumah Pohon & Thousand Islands Viewpoint

Known locally as Pasih Uug, the beach is called “Broken” for its arch-like cliff formation that allows the water to flow in and out of the ocean. Take a time to walk on the cliff or just relax at the edge and see the “trapped” beach in 360-degree view.

6. Exploring Teletubbies Hills.

Teletubbies Hill is a tourist attraction in the eastern area of Nusa Penida, where this tourist attraction offers a very beautiful hill view, where the shape of the hill is shaped like hills in teletubbies films with round shapes and green grass, because the shape is similar to the shape of a hill in the teletubbies is film, the locals call this hill the name teletubbies hill. in this place the hill is not just one but there are several hills that are the same shape as the teletubies hill, truly a very beautiful and amazing scenery, suitable as a backdrop of photography. Our guides were excellent, always helpful and making sure everyone on the boat had an excellent experience always going above and beyond.The land tour was also great and made us want to come back to the island and explore even more. The views and beaches were amazing! Definitely recommend this tour for a day trip. Bring lots of sun protection and change of clothes.
